Alexander Dugin says the enemy knows how to cynically shift blame onto others and thus geopolitical vigilance in times like these.

Commenting on the escalating Israeli crimes against Palestinians, the Russian philosopher wrote a short post on his Telegram channel saying the recent events in the Russian Republic of Dagestan reflect the general mood in the Islamic world.

“These provocative and excessive measures [protesters storming the airport after an Israeli flight landed in Dagestan airport] are very dangerous. But, the Islamic world is boiling while it witnesses the events unfold in Palestine,” he wrote.

“Two billion Muslims are growing increasingly hostile against Israel and its unconditional support from the West. This is the beginning of a dangerous track.”

“Sayyed Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, appeared for only three seconds on the screen instead of giving a speech, and the whole world is discussing it,” he added: explaining that the situation has grown so tense that anything can be taken as a pretext for an irreversible escalation.

“Our enemies know how to cynically shift blame onto others. This is one of the classic tactics in the realm of network-centric warfare. Now, more than ever, we need to be vigilant and pay close attention to geopolitics.”

In an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen, Shihab al-Din Husainov, Head of the Foreign Relations Department at the Dagestan Office of the Mufti, affirmed that the public anger in Dagestan and the protesters marching towards the airport was a natural response from Dagestan’s residents to the “ongoing violence in Gaza.”

Husainov added that the Dagestani people rejected the presence of the Israelis who landed in the republic, which is why they took to the airport.
