Crafternoon Presents: Mushroom Lamps

The Barbara Bush Branch Library is holding a crafting event, during which attendees can create a mushroom lamp with supplies provided.

Sun Catcher Embroidery

Cupcake Quilts will offer craft instructions to walk participants through the process of embroidering a design on a nylon- or pet-screen to create a sun catcher.

‘Cinderella’ Youth Edition

Playhouse 1960 is presenting “Cinderella,” following the folk tale with thousands of variations.

Live music

The MB Speakeasy is presenting Yelba and Roy with genres including rock, pop, top 40, jazz, country, R&B and classic Latin.

Fall Festival

Champion Forest Baptist Church is holding a fall festival featuring trunk-or-treating, bounce houses and hayrides.

Truck-or-Treat

Visit Spring Fire Department stations 70 and 71 for a space where kids can safely trick-or-treat for candy and see fire trucks.

Worth the Trip: Islamic Arts Festival

The Islamic Arts Society is holding this 11th annual event featuring art and art-related activities for adults and children, live demonstrations of henna, Ebru and calligraphy as well as ethnic food. The event has historically been held at Masjid Al-Salam in Spring.
