BEIRUT — The Islamic State terrorist movement vowed Thursday more attacks against “Jews and Christians” across the world.

In a 40-minute new audio message released by the Islamic State’s al Furqan media, IS spokesman, Abu Hudhaiyfah al-Ansari, called on the movement’s “lone wolves to attack and target the crusaders (Christians) and Jews everywhere especially in Europe and the U.S. and the heart of Jewish state in Al-Quds and Palestine during Ramadan” (the Muslim holy month).

He also praised the blast at the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk outside Moscow last week, for which Islamic State claimed responsibility. The attack left more than 140 people dead and 360 injured.

In January the Islamic state claimed that two of its members detonated explosive belts in the crowd that had gathered at the cemetery in the southeastern Iranian city of Kerman. The attack at the time killed 84 people and injured 284 others.

The Islamic State spokesman added that the movement is still “avenging for all the Muslims and teaching lessons to apostates.”

In his audio message, Al Ansrai commemorated the 10-year anniversary of the declaration of the self-styled Islamic State Caliphate that was announced in 2014.

He also called on Islamic State sleeper cells in Syria to attack al-Hol Camp release the group’s prisoners.

Al-Hol camp, which is controlled by the the U.S.-backed Syrian Kurds, houses many families who belong to the extremist militant organization Islamic State, including some foreign nationals.

For years, the Islamic State controlled large areas in the war-torn country of Syria and neighboring Iraq. In June 2014, it proclaimed a so-called caliphate and claimed leadership in the so-called global jihad.
